Helen is a qualified and accredited international sugar art professional with a wealth of teaching and judging experience and has been creating master pieces and inspiring others in this trendy craft for over two decades.

Students come to Sugarartcreations training academy to achieve a standard of excellence that surpasses many. Training is of the highest standard and Helens work is portrayed in many local and  international awards and recognition over the decades.

Passion and perfection with fine attention to detail is the driving force behind enthusiastic students who constantly strive and manage to achieve award winning results.

Individual tuition charged at an hourly rate is available as well as private group tuition and regular 6 weekly modules at TAFE colleges.

Demonstrations and hands on seminars throughout Australia, Canada, South Africa and the rest of the world are highlights of most enthusiasts wanting to gain as many skills as possible.

Signature cakes are no exception to the Cake Queen and are a culinary and aesthetic delight.

Helen is an active member of the Australian National and State Cake Decorators Associations, South African Cake Decorators Guild and the representative for South Africa in Australia. Helen and Gill  are both honorary  life  members of the Canadian Sugar Artistry (CSSA) and members of the British Sugar Craft Guild.

Gill is an executive chef who trained at Varenne in Paris.

Gill has a 30 year background in culinary and confectionary arts, she studied domestic science , after leaving school, and went on to do her Cordon Bleu in south Africa and an advanced diploma in cooking at LA VARENNE IN PARIS. Gill has taught and exhibited in many countries, and loves passing on her skills to others. She is a qualified teacher and judge for The South African Cake Decorators Guild.

 Gill teaches classes weekly from basic to advanced level with attention to detail, she also gives hands on workshops in the art of sugar blowing and pulling and chocolate work.Share her secrets and learn the artistic skills in baking and cake decorating. Courses are designed for all levels of aspiring chefs or just enthusiasts who love baking.

Apart from teaching Gill designs and makes wedding cakes on order, her style is eclectic and slightly quirky, BUT always makes sure that what looks good also tastes good.
