Gourmet Syrup Jam Recipe »

Ingredients:
- 10 green chillies
- 10 red chillies
- Tylose powder C1000P
- Stock syrup

Sugar Stock Syrup:
Mix 250mg sugar with 215ml water and boil for three minutes.

Method:
1. Boil sugar stock syrup together with approx 10 red and green deseeded large chillies which are sliced thinly.

2. Add 2 thinly sliced onions and boil for around five to 7 minutes.

3. Add a couple of drops of fresh lemon juice

4. Add one tablespoon of Tylose powder, let the powder dissolve.

5. Cool and pour into a glass jar.

6. The jam is rather a runny consistency.

Delicious served on top or with cheese especially on a lovely camembert round. Great used in stir fries.
