cake. The class is interactive and you learn to showcase your new found abilities in the use
of this wonderful technique . colour mixing and blending are a highlight and sure not to be

Gumpaste/Flowerpaste Making - 5 May 2018

Time: 9am - 12pm

Learn the art of making your very own sugar paste to enable you to make hassle free weather resistant flowers which are lifelike and paper thin with master sugarartist Helen Dissell from Sugarartcreations

What to bring:

  • 1 extra large egg white
  • Aldi icing sugar mix x one packet
  • Frymaster vegetarian(Coles)
  • Liquid glucose
  • Silicone baking mat
  • Cornflour
  • Teaspoon, apron, washing up cloth and dishcloth , baking paper
  • Glass mixing bowl ( Asian soup bowl size- Asian soup bowl will do as well)
  • Small decorators Spatula, mini whisk, zip lock bag medium size and small medium size
    Tupperware

Sugar Rose: Large Life Size Flower - 26 May 2018

Time: 9am - 3pm

Learn sound principals in the making and colouring a large romantic life size rose and Students must have attended and completed flower paste making course the week beforehand or done a flower paste making course with Helen Dissell in order to attend this class. Commercial flower paste will not be accepted for use in this class.
